OUR PRODUCTS, TRUST & RELIABILITY
Is shopping online with DiamondsInAfrica.com secure?
When shopping online with Diamonds in Africa your data is secured through the use of the latest SSL encryption technology. Please also review our privacy policy for information regarding what we do with the data you provide us.
How can I be sure I am receiving the actual diamond I have paid for?
Each of our diamonds come with a unique GIA grading report that is only associated with the diamond you have purchased. Should you take this diamond to any jeweller, weigh it or examine it using a 10x magnifying loop, you will see that the characteristics listed in the report correspond precisely to those of the actual diamond. As an additional measure, you can request that your diamond is laser engraved with a unique code that corresponds to your GIA grading report.
How can I be sure what the inclusion in the diamond looks like?
Our GIA grading report clearly shows where the inclusions can be found on your diamond and their size. In addition to this we provide sample images of a diamond with the same clarity grading as your one to give you a better idea of what to expect.
Why do you only sell GIA graded diamonds, only colours J or higher and clarities SI2 and better?
At Diamonds in Africa we believe that our customers deserve only the finest quality diamonds. For this reason we do not source diamonds that are graded by laboratories inferior to the GIA and all our diamonds are of the highest quality colours and clarities that our customers demand.
I have been quoted a cheaper price on the same diamond from another website. Can you beat their price?
We guarantee that our prices are competitive; therefore, should you find that another retailer is offering a better price for the same diamond; we guarantee that we will be able to beat it. Please note that we only source GIA graded diamonds which are of a much higher quality (given the same specifications) than diamonds graded by other laboratories. If the diamond is GIA graded, we will beat any price by 1% - which can be up to hundreds of dollars.
How can I be certain your diamonds are conflict free?
Our diamonds are all sourced from suppliers that are committed to the guidelines set out by the Kimberly Process. This process ensures our suppliers only offer conflict-free stones. All our products are therefore 100% conflict-free. Read more about the
Kimberly Process.
Will I be liable for my diamond or jewellery while it is being shipped?
Diamonds in Africa guarantees all diamonds are fully insured all the way to your door and deliveries require a signature and proof of I.D. upon delivery.
Is it safe to buy a diamond over the internet?
Buying a diamond over the internet is as safe as buying any other product. Your GIA grading report will correspond to the diamond you have purchased and upon careful inspection this can easily be checked. We only ship with FedEx and insure all our deliveries. If you are not 100% satisfied you can also return your purchase within 30 days of ordering.
